Barbering Director at the Refinery Mayfair with over 13 years’ experience in the hair industry, expertise in training, management and session styling.
I have made valuable contacts within fashion publications such as Shortlist Magazine, Wonderland Magazine, The Rakish Gent and River Island through networking, current and past clients and through a number of photoshoots which I have organised on a freelance basis. These high profile shoots resulted in me becoming officially sponsored by Fudge Hair Professional.
I gained valuable session styling experience when working at shows such as “London Fashion Week Men’s” as well as numerous session styling jobs for Shortlist and Wonderland.
I was recently approached to write a grooming article for Matchesfashion.com's Style Report based on my knowledge of men’s hair trends for the season, this article was published on the website.
I feel I really connect with my client base and am able to introduce them to the leading trends by drawing on my personal interest in the fashion industry and staying up to date with the latest key looks.
Above all I am able to build trust, my clients must have confidence in my ability in order for them to relax and enjoy the grooming experience.
I am proud to have amassed high end clientele at The Refinery and through freelancing; amongst these, I have had the responsibility of grooming celebrities and VIPs to the highest standard.
I became a Hairstylist for Toni&Guy in 2005 after completing my training with the highest level of merit and quickly progressed to the position of Senior Stylist and Male Grooming Expert with my 13 years experience.
I quickly took on management responsibilities including recruitment and training and became part of the Art Team which provided a platform to present styles and techniques to students.
Whilst at Toni&Guy Canary Wharf I was the most requested stylist in the salon, I believe this repeat and retained client base is a direct result of my ability to clearly interpret the requests of my clients.
